FAQS

Q:What should I do if I forget my password?

A:Regarding the issue of WiFi password, you need to reset Dash Cam, please try the following steps to solve the problem:

1) Connect the power and keep the device on, long press the function button for more than 5 seconds until the device beeps or reboots, which means the device is successfully restored to factory settings;

2) Keep Dash Cam on, find the device WiFi in your cell phone (e.g. Cievie_D100_XXXXX), select Forget this WiFi first, and later re-enter the initial password 12345678 to connect.

Note: When setting a new WiFi password, please do not use special symbols (e.g. ! @ $ % ^ &), otherwise the connection may fail.

Q:How do I connect the hardwire kit?

A:To assist you in accurately and quickly connecting the hardwire kit to your car battery, please follow the steps below:

Please check the following video to check how to install the hardwire kit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFoxS8zLUrc

https://youtu.be/P9vhU9pRZ8I

1. First of all, with the car turned off, connect the yellow wire to the BATT on the fuse. (The BATT fuse, which will always have the voltage no matter if the car is on or off)

We suggest connecting to the Fuse such as "Central Lock" in generally

To verify whether you connected the Yellow wire to the BATT correctly while the car is off: Please use a multimeter to test the fuse voltage; if the voltage is 12V, it's the BATT.

2. Step 2, with the car turned off, connect the black wire to the car's negative/ground (GND).

After completing the above steps, please check if the dashcam indicator light illuminates when you are connecting the Yellow wire and the Black wire. If it lights up, it means the yellow and black wires are correctly connected.

3. Step 3, connect the Red wire to the ACC on the fuse.

This fuse will not have power when the car is turned off. Test it with a multimeter after turning off the car; if the voltage is zero, it's the ACC fuse. (We suggest connecting to the Fuse such as radio/Seat/window in generally)

After completing the above steps, please connect to the app to check if the camera settings show the "Parking Monitor" function, as shown in the picture. If it appears, it means the connection is correct.

Q: What should I do if my dash cam keeps restarting repeatedly?

A: If your dash cam keeps rebooting, please try the following basic troubleshooting steps:

1.Please check whether the power supply connection is stable. Make sure the car charger and cable are fully plugged in and there is no loose contact.

2.Please try unplugging the rear camera’s 2.5mm plug (headphone jack) and then power on the dash cam to see if it can operate normally. This will help us determine whether the issue may be caused by the rear camera or its connection.

3.We recommend trying a standard data cable (USB-A to USB-C) to power the dash cam. This can help us confirm whether the issue is caused by the original power cable. (Please avoid using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Our dash cam requires a special PD protocol for power. Using a third-party dual USB-C cable may not provide sufficient power to keep the device running.)

4.If you have an extra SD card, please insert another SD card to see if the dash cam works normally. Alternatively, you can remove the SD card and check whether the device can power on and stay on without it. (While testing, please check if the dash cam’s indicator light stays on.)

5.These are initial checks to help identify the cause. Whether the problem is resolved or not, please contact us using the contact information provided. Meanwhile, could you please record a short video that clearly shows the issue and send it to us? This will help us better understand the situation and provide you with more accurate support.

Thank you very much for your understanding and support!

1.Unplug the dash cam power cable and the rear camera’s 2.5mm plug.

2.Reconnect the rear camera and the extension cable, and make sure the connection is secure, as shown below:

D100-5.png__PID:bc243b08-eca1-4c85-bdba-34175cc64420
